Terms of Service
Last updated 17 September 2026 · Effective 17 September 2026
These terms are the agreement between you and us when you apply to or use Network Coffee. By submitting an application you accept them. The short version: we introduce you to one person at a time, we hold a refundable deposit so both of you turn up, and what happens at the table is between the two of you.
1. Who you are contracting with
Network Coffee is operated by Geek Falcon Coding and Machine Learning Co. L.L.C, a limited liability company licensed in Dubai, United Arab Emirates under commercial licence no. 1109170 issued by the Dubai Department of Economy and Tourism. "We", "us" and "our" mean that company. "You" means the person applying or holding a membership.
2. What Network Coffee is — and is not
We are an introductions service. We match professionals in the UAE with each other for one-to-one meetings in cafés, and we operate the deposit mechanism that makes those meetings reliable.
We are explicitly not:
- A dating or matchmaking service. Every introduction is professional. See our community guidelines.
- A recruitment agency. We do not place candidates, and we take no fee from any hire that results from a meeting.
- An adviser. Nothing we or another member says is investment, legal, tax, immigration or financial advice.
- A party to your meeting. We introduce two people; we are not present and we are not involved in anything you agree between yourselves.
- A guarantor of anyone. We check that a member is a real, reachable person who turns up. We do not verify their job title, seniority, company, qualifications, wealth, or any claim they make to you.
Do your own due diligence. If a meeting leads to a job, an investment, a contract or a payment, treat that as you would any other business dealing with a stranger. Never send money to someone because you met them through us.
3. Who can join
- You must be 18 or over and legally able to enter a contract.
- You must give accurate information about who you are and what you do, and keep it up to date. A real name and a recognisable, current photo of yourself are required.
- One account per person. You may not hold several accounts, apply on someone else's behalf, or let another person use your account.
- You must not be someone we have previously removed for misconduct.
4. Applying and being admitted
Applying does not entitle you to membership. We curate who joins, and we may decline any application, or place it on hold, without giving a reason. Applying costs nothing and commits you to nothing — no payment is taken at the application stage.
5. Membership and billing
- Membership is a rolling monthly subscription that renews automatically until you cancel.
- Your plan sets how many introductions you are offered per month. It is a number of introductions offered, not a guarantee of meetings held — whether a match accepts is up to them.
- You can cancel at any time. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the period you have already paid for; you keep access until then.
- Unused introductions do not carry over to the following month and are not refundable, except where UAE consumer protection law gives you a refund right — which these terms do not override.
- If we change the price, we will tell you at least 30 days before it applies to you, and you can cancel before it does.
- If a payment fails we may pause your introductions until it clears.
- Membership fees are separate from deposits. A deposit is never revenue; see section 6.
6. Deposits
Before each confirmed meeting, both members place a refundable deposit. It is returned in full once attendance is confirmed. The full mechanics — amounts, timing, rescheduling, no-shows and disputes — are in our Deposits & Refunds Policy, which forms part of these terms.
7. How you must behave
Our community guidelines form part of these terms. In summary: be who you say you are, show up or give notice, keep every interaction professional, do not harass anyone, respect confidentiality, and respect the venue. Breaking them can cost you your membership.
You also agree not to:
- Use Network Coffee to recruit for a multi-level marketing scheme, or to make unsolicited hard sales pitches.
- Scrape, copy or resell member information, or use it to build a competing database.
- Interfere with the service — probing, overloading, or attempting to bypass verification or the deposit system.
- Misrepresent a meeting that did not happen in order to recover a deposit.
8. Verification
Attendance is confirmed by a selfie taken with your match at the table and compared against your profile photo. This uses biometric data, so we ask for your explicit consent separately and you may refuse or withdraw it — in which case we verify your meeting manually instead, and you keep your deposit either way. How the image is handled and when it is deleted is set out in our Privacy Policy.
9. Meetings are your responsibility
You meet another adult in a public place of your own choosing, at your own risk. We are not present, we do not supervise, and we are not responsible for what another member says, does or promises.
- Meet in public. Use a café or other public venue — never a private residence.
- Tell someone where you are going if that makes you more comfortable.
- Leave whenever you want. If a meeting feels wrong, end it. You will not lose your deposit for leaving a meeting that made you uncomfortable — tell us and we will sort it out.
- Report it. If something happens, tell us. If you are in danger, contact the UAE police on 999 first.
10. What we do and do not promise
We promise to run the service with reasonable care and skill, to match you honestly on the information you give us, and to return your deposits as our deposit policy says.
We do not promise that:
- Any particular introduction will be useful, or lead to a job, client, investment or friendship.
- A match will be available every week, especially in emirates where membership is still small. We will tell you honestly if your pool is thin.
- Any member's description of themselves is accurate.
- The site will be uninterrupted or error-free.
11. Our content
The Network Coffee name, the site, its text and its design belong to us. You may not copy or reuse them commercially without our written permission. Anything you write in your own profile or notes stays yours; you give us permission to use it only to run the service — for example, to show a match why the two of you were introduced.
12. Suspension and ending your membership
You can leave at any time from your account or by emailing us. We may suspend or end your membership if you break these terms or the community guidelines, if you repeatedly fail to attend confirmed meetings, if we reasonably believe you have misrepresented who you are, or if keeping you would put other members at risk.
Where it is fair to do so, we will warn you first and give you a chance to explain. For serious matters — harassment, threats, fraud, or anything unlawful — we may remove you immediately and without notice. If we end your membership without cause, we will refund the unused part of your current month.
13. Our liability
Nothing in these terms limits any liability that cannot lawfully be limited, including liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, for fraud, or any right you have under UAE consumer protection law.
Subject to that, and to the maximum extent UAE law allows:
- We are not liable for the conduct of another member, or for any loss arising from a business dealing you enter into with someone you met through us.
- We are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, lost profits, lost opportunity, or lost data.
- Our total liability to you for any claim is limited to the greater of the membership fees you paid us in the 3 months before the claim, or AED 1,000. Deposits we owe you are returned in full and do not count toward that cap.
You agree to cover us for losses we suffer because you broke these terms or acted unlawfully toward another member.
14. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms. If a change materially affects your rights or what you pay, we will email members at least 30 days before it takes effect, and you can cancel before then if you disagree. Minor corrections take effect when published, with the date at the top updated.
15. Governing law and disputes
These terms are governed by the laws of the United Arab Emirates as applied in the Emirate of Dubai, and the courts of Dubai have jurisdiction.
Please come to us first — contact us through this website and we will try to resolve it directly, which is faster than anything else. You also keep your right to complain to the UAE Ministry of Economy's consumer protection department, or to the Dubai Department of Economy and Tourism.
